OUR STORY
Founded on November 17, 2022 in memory of Verna Batton, a beloved family member who was a Case Manager for a non-profit for many years. Verna's Helping Hands empowers people who are in need of a helping hand with the basic necessities and resources to achieve and sustain long term housing as well as self sufficiency while they navigate through life.
OUR MISSION
Verna's Helping Hands is a non-profit, family-started organization with the mission of helping the homeless community in the DFW area. We are committed to providing resources and support to those in need, with a focus on community-oriented efforts.
